Is it so silly to live
as if insanity truly will take over
and the end will be here within the next few months?

Scoff at the paranoia
but carpe diem means
Seize The Day
means
Live every day as your last!

Words that feel good only to say?

Is not character who I am when no one is looking?

I preach the paths I walk on
so, why am I the one having to explain
why every moment of every day are
each in and among themselves
oceans of time to bathe in?

Whether I would like to climb a mountain
or hold you warm late at night
I will do so
knowing that moment will be gone forever

Ain’t nothing wrong with making the most
