empty baggage

Poem #75 for Gift Poem from Michelle Linak to Girl and Peter

GO…

Leave, now, and see it all

NOW, young, still together, still in love

Do not waste the little moments on monotony

Understand

you do not realize the rarity of this love

but have faith

in the hand that tells you this.

It is not to be taken for granted

when you are in a no-rules bliss;

baggage collects quickly when you are alone

so

take them now, while they are empty

and go…

together
